We are delighted to inform you that JLC Electromet Pvt. Ltd. is now an IATF 16949:2016 Automotive Quality Management System (QMS) certified company. IATF 16949:2016 is the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems, jointly developed by The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) members and submitted to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for approval and publication. IATF 16949 emphasizes the development of a process oriented quality management system that provides for continual improvement, defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. The goal is to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively. The standard is applicable to any organization that manufactures components, assemblies and parts for supply to the automotive industry.

We are delighted to inform you that JLC Electromet’s Thermocouple Lab is now an ISO 17025:2017 certified testing centre recognized by the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL), India. Certification to ISO/IEC 17025 standard assures that results provided by JLC Electromet’s Thermocouple lab are accurate and reliable. This standard certifies that the testing lab operates competently and generates valid results. NABL is a prime accreditation body recognized by Government of India. Its accreditation system is established in accordance with ISO/ IEC 17011 standard (Conformity Assessment –Requirements for Accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies). NABL provides voluntary accreditation services to testing and calibration laboratories in accordance with ISO/ IEC 17025 (General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories).

JLC Electromet was recently awarded the “State Safety Award – 2021” by the Government of Rajasthan.  The award recognizes Team JLC's efforts towards ensuring occupational safety and health (OSH), taking measures and setting protocols to enable employees to work safely and securely. Rensselaer is one of the world's leading research universities and ranked in top 50 best colleges in United States of America. Dr. Desai holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Rensselaer. JLC Electromet’s R&D Director Dr. Tapan Desai featured in his alma mater Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute ’s (RPI) newsletter for Materials Science and Engineering Department. RPI is one of the world’s leading research universities and it is consistently ranked in top 50 best colleges in United States of America. Dr. Desai holds a Ph. Proud winner of EEPC India National Award for 2013-14 – Star Performer (Northern Region) - Non Ferrous Metals from the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) JLC Electromet was once again the proud winner of EEPC India National Award for 2013-14 – Star Performer (Northern Region) in the Non Ferrous Metals category from the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) of India. JLC Director Naveen Baid was there to receive the award at the 46th National Awards Function for Export Excellence 2013-14 held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. He received the award from the Chief Guest, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Government of India. JLC Electromet won the Automotive Aftermarket Supplier Award 2013 from Bosch Limited. JLC received this prestigious award from Bosch Limited for Excellency achieved in quality and delivery for the year of 2012 in supplies to Bosch Limited . The award was was presented in the 2nd BOSCH After Market supplier meet held on 25th March 2013 in Bangalore, India. JLC has been winning accolades and acknowledgements from its various customers over the years for excellence in product quality, timely delivery, product development and dealings, and this is another feather in their crown.
